Rainy day people by Yoyomama:

April showers may bring May flowers, but we don’t trust the weather enough to retire our rain gear just yet! In fact, spring rain brings on a new challenge – staying dry without overheating. Which is why we’ve rounded up some Canadian rain solutions that work for spring, and can also be added to your fall and winter wet weather arsenal.

Moojoes Rain Poncho for Kids: Canadian e-tailers Moojoes took matters into their own hands and designed a kid-friendly rain poncho. We love these ponchos for many reasons: they’re water resistant and made from Oeko-Tex certified fabric; they’re liberally adorned with reflective tape, which makes it easy to see your little ones on dark, damp days; and they’re great for layering. Muggy, warm and wet? Wear a poncho over a shirt. Cold and damp? Drape it atop a jacket and you’re good to go. We also like their long shelf life – one size should last your child for at least two years. And they fit kids from age 3-11, and come in colours like aubergine and olive. Our little tester donned hers and promptly declared she was “Little Turquoise Riding Hood.” The only downside? We find them a bit awkward when strapping our kids into the carseat; there’s a lot of damp fabric to deal with: moojoes.com
