Otterbottle Inc. was founded by Canada’s own Shannon Andrukow. Since a very young age, Shannon has been an environmentalist keen on preserving the planet for herself, her family and future generations. Shannon made it her mission to do something about the millions of empty water bottles being dumped in to Canadian landfills each year. By combining a sense of style and creativity with a passion to find a better solution for the planet, she created an alternative to Bisphenol A (BPA) bottles called Otterbottle.

Otterbottle: Each Otterbottle is 100%, 18/8 grade stainless steel, BPA-free, no aluminum and earth-friendly, sporting a different design motif on each bottle to suit everyone’s tastes.

Stainless Steel Containers: Their two wall containers are made of non-leaching 18/8 stainless steel. The lid is made of #5 recyclable BPA-free plastic. These insulated containers keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold for up to five hours. Ideal for chilli, pasta, meats or yogurt. 350ml in size.

What’s in a name? The name Otterbottle came from the desire to find a name that represented something pure, healthy and, of course, Canadian.The otter was a perfect fit as it lives in the water and what better than to have a company name that is virtually impossible to forget – say it three times – you’ll never forget it!
