Lynn Headwaters – Varley Trail (Easy)

Check out the Varley Trail in Lynn Headwaters Park located at the end of Lynn Valley Road. This trail is a delight for young kids (> 3) as it’s flat, has boardwalks and stairs and there is tons to see. Not suitable to take a stroller though. Heading into the park, find a parking spot at any of the 3 parking lots as the Varley Trail connects to all. Follow the signs for Varley Trail and start walking. At some point you come out at a dirt road. Go straight and look for a bridge. Turn left on the bridge and after a short climb you’ll find a gazebo. A great spot to have a little rest or a picknick. Head back the same way or continue on the other side of the river by following the signs to Lynn Headwaters and you’ll end up back at the beginning of the Varley Trail. It’s about 3 km to do the entire loop and you can do it in 1,5 hours if hiking with little ones.
